Architectural Designs are a Part of Creative Collaborative Process with Legal Care

Architecture is a science that meets the timeless needs of human beings for housing and its new challenges such as the environment, sustainability and rapid development of technologies. For these reasons, architects are constantly evolving and doing or recreating their physical world, producing, designing and building particular buildings with the help of what we call architectural designs.

Architectural designs is all about building designs with the help of tools and technologies for construction, structures and the environment. That too, architecture depends on a world of ideas, to explore various meanings of buildings and its structures through history and from the eyes of various theorists’ views. All these topics and creative ideas should be collected by the architect for his learning. This different learning experience can be done in a larger context or multidisciplinary environment for inspiration. It is also important to explore the theoretical understanding which is required by the architectural profession. This includes visual and three-dimensional ability to think, especially with regard to spatial issues.

Architectural Services and Their Responsibilities

Architects are legally required to provide services in accordance with their professional care. Although defined by applicable law and language in the architectural languages, an agreement may increase a standard as the risk can b difficult to handle. Similarly, contractually beyond the architecture can increase the risk for an architect. Architects have to follow their legal due diligence and carefully understand the contract language to understand and align their functions with their legal and professional obligations. This maps out and examines the duties and responsibilities of architects in a standard way. It also examines the limitations of the authority of architects. After an analysis, several cases with skilled workers presents various circumstances in which architects are discouraged which they have defended. It is important to review and evaluate their ideas for the management and align the risks and quality control strategies.

Standard of Care in the Level of Performing Architectural Services

Although the legal responsibilities of architects differ from the jurisdiction, in general, the law cannot assure the results, but expect them to use appropriate skills and provide professional services. Architects can be exposed during their practice by the law by the regulations and civil laws. As public servants follow the established rules and standards, same goes for architects with standard documents, approved code and specific requirements for each project. The level of performance which the architects provide can be further elaborated with a contract declaration which can serve as a legal obligation. It could be shaped to say that the architect must perform his services and correspond to professional competence and the care that is normally provided by architects at any place, placed with the same or similar conditions. The architect must provide his services as quickly as possible. His skills, support and the orderly development of the project.

Although these statement can be amended contractually but behavior of the architect should be appropriate to a standard; otherwise they could increase their exposure to the responsibility. Compliance with a standard is judged on the basis of what a reasonable architect would do with his creative architectural designs at the same time and under the circumstances. The architect who does not exercise due diligence can be held liable for his professional negligence.
